What we collect.
This website has no accounts and no passwords. We only collect what you send us, what the form needs in order to reach us, and ordinary server logs.
Do not send health information, government identifiers or other sensitive information through the public form. Email info@cyberate.com.au first if you need a different channel.
Contact form: Name, email address and a description of the project or workflow. All three fields are required to send the form.
Page context: The URL of the page you submitted from, so we know which offer you were reading.
Anti-spam field: The form includes a hidden field used only to reject automated submissions. We do not use it for any other purpose.
Server logs: IP address, browser type, requested path and time, kept so we can run the site and diagnose faults.
Email and phone later: If we reply and you continue the conversation, we also hold that correspondence.
How we use it.
We collect website personal information for the reasonably expected purpose of running this site and answering the people who write to us.
Reply to you: To understand the enquiry and respond by email or phone.
Keep the site working: Logs are used to detect faults, abuse and outages.
Business records: If a conversation becomes a proposal or a contract, we keep the correspondence that led to it.
What we do not do: We do not use website enquiry details for research, marketing lists, profiling or model training unless you have agreed in writing.
Who receives it.
Form messages are processed through DDDI Group's application interface at api.dddi.com.au so Cyberate staff can read and reply. We do not sell contact-form details.
We do not send website form submissions to a third country as part of the ordinary enquiry path. Cyberate also lists an Auckland office for communications. A person there only sees a submission if they are assigned to reply to it.
Cyberate staff: People at Cyberate who handle incoming enquiries.
DDDI Group: Provides the receiving system at api.dddi.com.au. It is the same group Cyberate belongs to.
Professional advisers: If a matter requires a lawyer, accountant or similar adviser, we share only what that person needs.
The law: We disclose information if Australian law requires it.
Google Maps on /contact: The contact page embeds a Google Map of our Adelaide office. Google may collect technical data from that embed under Google's own terms. You can skip the map and still use the form.
This website does not set advertising cookies and does not run Google Analytics, Meta Pixel or a similar tracking tag. We have not connected a field-data endpoint for Core Web Vitals.
No marketing cookies: We do not drop cookies to advertise to you on other sites.
No account cookies: There is nothing to stay logged in to.
Browser storage: Your browser may keep a short-lived copy of a form draft if you leave the page. That stays on your device.
Embedded map: The Google Map on the contact page is the only third-party embed that may set its own cookies. Stay off /contact if you do not want that embed to load.
How long we keep it.
We keep an enquiry long enough to reply and to continue a conversation you have started. If nothing further happens, we treat it as closed correspondence.
Active enquiries: Held while we are corresponding with you.
Closed enquiries: Removed from active use when you ask us to delete them, or when they are no longer needed to manage the conversation.
Legal hold: We keep a record if Australian law, a contract or a dispute requires it.
Server logs: Rotated in the ordinary course of hosting. They are not used as a contact list.
How we protect it.
We take reasonable steps to protect website personal information from misuse, interference, loss, and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure.
Transit: The public site is served over HTTPS.
Access: Enquiry messages are readable by staff who handle incoming work, not by the whole company by default.
What we do not claim: We do not publish an ISO, SOC or named cloud-region mark for this website. Customer-system hosting is agreed per engagement.
You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information you sent us through this website. Email info@cyberate.com.au. We will respond within a reasonable time.
This website is not directed at children under 15. Do not use the form on behalf of a child unless you are that child's parent or guardian.
Access: Ask us for a copy of the enquiry details we hold about you.
Correction: Ask us to fix information that is wrong or out of date.
Deletion: Ask us to delete an enquiry. We will remove it from active use unless we must keep a business record.
Complaint to us: Write to the same address if you are not satisfied with how we handled your information.
Complaint to the OAIC: You can also complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
Changes to this policy.
If we change how the website collects or uses personal information, we will update this page and the date at the top. The published page is the current version.
